摘要

Abstract

Automotive half shaft casing is generally manufactured using high quality carbon structural steel and alloy structural steel hot-rolled seamless steel tube to machin.For simple shape flange diameter small casing,machining difficulty is not great,but the complex shape,the inner hole of the sleeve shaped by machining forming wastes materials or cannot process.The extrusion forming has many advantages,such as saving material,improving efficiency and workpiece performance due to plasticity strengthening and improving.A composite upsetting extrusion forming process for a half shaft sleeve was designed in this paper.The simulation results are very ideal,the workpiece size can meet the requirements,the convex and concave die stress is far lower than the allowable stress.
