摘要

Abstract

Aiming at cast-rolling forming technology,two kinds of ring slab were prepared with sand and centrifugal casting process.By means of metallographic observation,mechanical properties test and fracture observation,the effect of sand casting and centrifugal casting on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the 42CrMo alloy structural steel were investigated.The results show that the grains are small obviously and the microstructure is more uniform in the centrifugal casting blank.The impact fracture of sand casting blank is almost completely brittle cleavage fracture characteristics.The impact fracture of centrifugal casting blank is a mixed fracture characteristics of cleavage fracture and a certain amount of dimple.The impact toughness of centrifugal casting is nearly two times of that of sand mold casting.
