Abstract
Based on the VO model of the compression modulus for unsaturated soil and the theory of shear displacement method, an analytical solution of composite modulus for the rigid pile composite foundation with the unsaturated soil between piles was deduced. The impacts of the length of rigid pile, the pile modulus and the matric suction of unsaturated soil were taken into consideration. A case study was presented on the basis of the analytical method and specification method, and the obtained results were compared with the measured value. It is found that the result got by the analytical method is close to the measured value, which verifies the application of the analytical method.关键词
