摘要

Abstract

Brushless doubly-fed induction generator (BDFIG) is a novel type electrical machine,which has widely applied in some variable speed constant frequency (VSCF) generation systems.Based on its features,an excitation control strategy for the stand-alone BDFIG based on ship shaft generator was introduced.The control scheme can be implemented without the parameters of BDFIG and was able to maintain constant voltage and frequency at the output of the BDFIG,the prime mover speed and load condition variation can be eliminated by this control scheme.The main difficulty when working with BDFIG is its inherent complexity.To overcome this problem,the mathematical description,power flow and performance evaluation of the stand-alone BDFIG was comprehensively developed and analyzed.The experiments were carried out on a 2/6-pole 250-frame-size wound rotor BDFIG.
