摘要

Abstract

Ni-foam-supported Rucatalyst was prepared by chemical plating.Several techniques such as SEM,EDS and XPS were used to analyze the microstructure and composition before and after hydrogen generation (HG).The effects of the concentration and temperature of plating solution and temperature of NaBH4 solution on hydrogen generation rate were investigated.The results show that Ru is uniformly dispersed and mass transfer in NaBH4 solution is improved with well-structured Ni-foam.The measurement of the HG rate shows that the activity of Ru/Ni-foam catalyst still remains 76.3% of the initial activity after 20 cycles,exhibiting good durability.The activation energy for the reaction is 40.8 kJ/mol.
