Abstract

Considering the impact of high renewable energy penetration on the power and energy balance and flexible operation demands of active distribution network, this paper proposes a capacity allocation method of energy storage based on goal-chance constrained programming.Firstly, we analyze the power demand and flexibility demand problems of active distribution network with high penetration of renewable energy under the typical 'duck type net load curve' scenario.To deal with that, we propose a goal-chance constrained programming method for the optimal allocation of energy storage resources, which aims optimize the balance of power demand margin and flexibility demand margin.Finally, we verify the effectiveness of the proposed model through the test cases.The simulation results show that the proposed energy storage capacity allocation model and its coordinated operation scheme can effectively achieve the power balance demand and flexible goals in the typical 'duck type net load curve' scenario with high penetration of renewable energy integration.
