Abstract

A fast search method for the dangerous lines in power flow transferring resulting from simultaneous multibranch removal was put forward to avoid the chain tripping accident caused by power flow transferring.The equal-phase parallel lines in each broken branch could be determined by matrix operation and equal-phase theory,thus the line set affected by branch removal was obtained by path search.The power increment of each line in the set was estimated by direct-current power flow method,and the risk index of power flow transferring was defined comprehensively considering the power increment and thermal stability power limit,by which the dangerous lines with overload risk in power flow transferring were obtained after screening.Moreover,the importance of equal-phase parallel lines in power flow transferring was proved by simulation examples.The difficulty in the computation of power increment in simultaneous multibranch removal was overcome,and the traditional method which only judged the degree of line risk by power increment was improved.Finally,the proposed method was verified in an IEEE 39-node system.
