摘要

Abstract

In this study, a new mathematic model was proposed based on the random process for the calculation of vehicle load effects, in which, the multiple load effects of vehicle running on different lanes can be obtained using available real vehicle weight data obtained from weigh-in-motion tech-nique. In addition, a new extrapolation method was proposed based on classic extreme value theory to estimate their projection to bridge life-cycle by the usage of short-term data, and the calculation of the error index verifies its reliability comparing with NCHRP method. Hopefully, this approach could provide a beneficial reference to calculation of live-load on bridges.
