Preparation of Al2O3 inorganic membranes and its surface free energy calculation

Abstract
Taking aluminum isopropoxide (AIP) as precursor,Al2O3 inorganic membranes were prepared in the sol-gel process.The contact angles on the Al2O3 inorganic membrane surfaces were measured and the surface free energies calcined at various temperature were calculated.The results show that the distilled water contact angles on the membrane surfaces are less than 90 degrees and the membrane materials showed hydrophilic properties.With the increasing of calcination temperature,the surface free energy of Al2O3 inorganic membrane decreased first and increased late.When calcined at 350℃,the surface wettability reaches the weakest and the surface free energy achieves a minimum of 54.95 × 10-5 N · cm-1.The dispersion,dipole moment and hydrogen bond component are 26.53 ×10-5,14.62×10-5and 13.80×10-5 N· cm-1,respectively.关键词
