Abstract

Under the modem production mode of multi variety and small batch,there exist uncertain factors in the manufacturing shops.The internal uncertain factors appear in the forms of unknown job arrival,processing time variation,machine failure,incomplete production information and etc.Uncertain external factors contain the shortage of materials,order cancellation or addition,market demand and etc.Consequently,those factors jeopardize the effectiveness and feasibility of initial schedule.Since the initial schedule is not available,how to deal with uncertainties and adjust to initial schedule are becoming a significant topic,and drawing increasing attention from scholars and practitioners.In order to improve the productivity and stability of production system,it's crucial to make a reasonable rescheduling strategy according to the real-time condition and state of manufacturing shops.The rescheduling strategy mainly solves two problems:when to reschedule and how to reschedule.Aiming at the rescheduling strategy problems in manufacturing shops under uncertainty,a method based on fuzzy Petri net model and cloud theory is proposed by using artificial intelligence.According to the analysis on uncertain factors during the production process,disturbance types of triggering rescheduling are defined as mutant and gradual disturbance.The disturbance is inevitable in the production process and can't be eradicated.It's sensible to choose a rational rescheduling strategy based on the form of production organization,type of production,real-time condition,and etc.After disturbance happens,a threshold is needed to make a choice ofrescheduling methods,such as rescheduling execution cost and cumulative deviation of processing time.Considering the fuzziness and randomness of disturbance,an improved fuzzy Petri net oriented to rescheduling strategy is proposed.A new decision transition was defined in the model,and the threshold of decision transition was generalized into an interval number.Since the cloud model has good characteristics of expressing the fuzziness and randomness simultaneously,X-condition cloud is applied to define the triggering mechanism.In order to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the method,an experiment of a gearbox assembly shop is carried out.The conclusions are drawn through analysis of the experiment.First,the proposed method not only responds to mutant disturbances timely,but also solves gradual disturbance,by considering both stable constraints and computation burden.Second,when the uncertain degree is constant,the rescheduling law shifts from the higher rescheduling method to the lower method along with the increase of belief level.When the belief level is constant,with the increase of uncertain degree,rescheduling law shifts from the lower rescheduling method to the higher method.To sum up,the proposed method can serve as a feasible and effective tool for rescheduling strategy problems in manufacturing shops under uncertain environment.
