摘要

Abstract

Biodiesel as an alternative to fossil diesel has attracted great attention for its environmental friendliness. In China, the raw feedstrocks for biodiesel production are mainly low-quality oils which contain a certain amount of phospholipids in addition to triglycerides and free fatty acids. Studies have shown that phospholipids present complex effects on both chemical-mediated and lipase-mediated biodiesel production, which further affect the final yield and quality of biodiesel. This review summarizes species, structures and characteristics of phospholipids in oils, and their effects on biodiesel quality are further discussed. Finally, the effects of phospholipids on biodiesel production with chemical catalyst or lipase are reviewed, and possible research directions are prospected.
