Exploration of publishment of traditional Chinese medicine classical literatures in the Republic of China
摘要
Abstract
In the period of the Republic of China,the development of traditional Chinese medicine confronted unprecedented difficulties and almost be abolished.Classical literatures of traditional Chinese medicine could not be published on a large scale by big publishing companies like the Commercial Press or the Chinese publishing company and so on,for these literatures could not cater the purpose of these publication companies of publicizing science or earning money.In order to preserve traditional Chinese medicine,the practitioners themselves and the publication companies or associations they own undertook the responsibility of publishing traditional Chinese medicine classical literatures.As a result of the resistance from the traditional Chinese medicine practitioners,the Republic of China created the National Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine and promulgated the Regulations for Traditional Chinese Medicine in the 1930s,this changed the publishing situation and impelled the 1936 become a publishing year of traditional Chinese medicine classical literatures.Later,because of the warfare,the publication of traditional Chinese medicine classical literatures fell into a low ebb again.关键词
