Abstract

Based on the property and characteristic of fusel oil,This paper prepared BM compound reagent taking fusel oil and 0# diesel oil as raw material for coal slime flotation.The best preparation conditions determined by orthogonal experiments were as follows:the ratio of 0#diesel oil and fusel oil was 5:1,emulsifier dosage of Span-80 was 5% of the mass of fusel oil,reaction temperature was 60 ℃ and reaction time was 90mintues.The results of the slime flotation test compared BM composite reagent with conventional flotation reagents showed that,when the optimal dosage of BM compound reagent was 2.0 kg/t,yield of flotation concentrate,combustible recovery and flotation perfection index was higher by 0.41%,0.83% and 1.31% respectively than using the dosage 0# diesel oil was 2.0 kg/t.Measurement of wetting heat showed that the reaction between BM compound reagent with coal sample is stronger and BM compound reagent can absorb on coal surface firmly.Infrared spectrum analysis showed that BM composite reagent was absorb in organic sulfur on coal particle surface by-S-S-form and the reaction between it with polar group of oxygenic groups on coal sample is chemical adsorption and it can form hydrogen bonding with coal particle surface,which is advantageous to hydrophobicity of the coal slime.
