Abstract
Hepatic fibrosis is the common pathological outcome of chronic hepatic diseases.An accurate assessment of fibrosis degree provides an important reference for a definite diagnosis of diseases,treatment decision-making,treatment outcome monitoring,and prognostic evaluation.At present,many clinical studies have proven that regression of hepatic fibrosis and early-stage liver cirrhosis can be achieved by effective treatment,and a correct evaluation of fibrosis regression has become a hot topic in clinical research.Liver biopsy has long been regarded as the gold standard for the assessment of hepatic fibrosis,and thus it plays an important role in the evaluation of fibrosis regression.This article reviews the clinical application of current pathological staging systems in the evaluation of fibrosis regression from the perspectives of semi-quantitative scoring system,quantitative approach,and qualitative approach,in order to propose a better pathological evaluation system for the assessment of fibrosis regression.关键词
