摘要

Abstract

This research aims at investigating the effects of human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) infection in human malignant U251 cells junctional communication.HCMV was infected to U251 and the morphological changes were observed with phase contract microscope.The cell migration was detected by Wound Healing Assay after HCMV infection.Expression of the gap junction genes and connexins after HCMV AD 169 infection U251 Cell were detected by RT-PCR and Western-blot.Morphological observations results showed that U251 cell became big and round and fused each other after HCMV infection.The cell migration results showed that the cell migration were enhanced after HCMV AD 169 infection.RT-PCR and Western-blot shown that the gap junction genes and connexins expression of quantity will be less and less with the increase of the time of HCMV infection(p<0.05).The results above indicated that the expression of gap junction genes and connexins were different after HCMV infection.Therefore, the gap junction gene may be involved in human glioma, which provides a new way for tumor treatment.
