Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of polyunsaturated Omega-3 fatty acids (n-3PUFAS) on lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (LPPA2),LDL and lipoproteina-A (LPP A) in patients with stble angina, and provide basis for n3PUFAS in the treatment of stable angina. Methods Eighty patients with stable angina confirmed by coronary angiography done in Department of Cardiology in our hospital were selected and evenly randomized to control group and experimental group.Patients in the two groups were given conventional anti-coronary therapy-such as aspirin and rosuvastatin-as well as antihypertensive treatment such as metoprolol. In addition to the above conventional treatment of coronary heart diasese, patients in the experimental group were given n 3PUFAS capsule,1 g daily,(HEALTH Fish Oil);those in the control group were offered the same dose of placebo (soybean oil capsule).A treatment course was three months for patients in both groups.Fasting venous blood was collected-before and after treatment-to measure the levels of LPPLA2,LDL and LPP-A.Results After treatment, the level of LPPLA2 in both groups declined versus that before treatment, the difference being significant (t =3.825,2.115;P < 0.05).The differences in LPPLA2 and LDL,before and after treatment, between the two groups were significant (t =2.813,2.813;P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the level of LPP-A in the two group between before and after treatment (P>0.05).Conclusion n-3PUFAS fatty acids can reduce the levels of LPPLA2 and LDL,but does not impact LPP-A,in patients with stable angina.关键词
