Abstract
The calculation and analysis of seismic passive thrust and pressure distribution behind retaining wall with fold-line back face has not drawn much attention.Based on the planar rupture surfaces hypothesis of Mononobe-Okabe theory, a method to compute the seismic passive thrust of retaining wall with fold-line back face is proposed by using pseudo-dynamic approach and the vertical pressure distribution is obtained.The study explores the effects of several factors on the seismic passive earth pressure coefficient and pressure distribution of the retaining wall with fold-line back face, such as soil friction angle, inclination of the upper part of fold-line back face, inclination of the lower part of fold-line back face, interface friction angle of fold-line back face, horizontal earthquake acceleration coefficient, vertical earthquake acceleration coefficient, amplification coefficient of acceleration.Moreover, the effects of horizontal seismic acceleration coefficient and soil friction angle on inclination angles of upper and lower failure surface are investigated.关键词
