摘要

Abstract

In order to study soil pollution by heavy metals,54 soil samples containing heavy metal residues from a chromium contaminated site in Chongqing were collected to analyze the content of Cr,Cu,Zn and Pb elements.The results showed that the concentrations of Cr,Cu,Zn and Pb at surface soils were 3370.8,58.0,36.1,112.4 mg/kg,respectively.This site was heavily polluted by heavy metals and has a strong potential ecological risk.The potential ecological risk indexes rank as follows,Cr > Pb > Cu > Zn,Cr is the primary risk factor.The research results would provide theoretical foundation for the remediation and reuse of this abandoned site.
