Abstract
Objective To observe the inhibitory effect of curcumin on the proliferation of human renal carcinoma cell line 786-0 in vitro.Methods Cell proliferation was measured by MTT assay.Results After24h,48h,72h treated by curcumin of 6.25 mol/L,12.5 mol/L,25 mol/L,50 mol/L,growth of 786-0 cell was inhibited,compared with the control group,the OD values of all treatment groups were decreased,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).And there was also significant difference between the treatment groups (P<0.05).After 24h,48h,72h different concentrations of curcumin (6.25 mol/L,12.5 mol/L,25 mol/L,50 mol/L) on 786-0 cells,changesof inhibition rate were respectively8.1% ~ 58%,9.4%~67.7%,13.1%~75.3%,compared with the control group the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The PI values of each treatment group were lower than those of the control group,and decreased with the increase of curcumin concentration.Compared with the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Curcumin can effectivelyinhibit the proliferation of human renal carcinoma cell line 786-0,which may be a new target for the treatment of renal cell carcinoma.关键词
