Effects of Shuangjintongliting Capsule on inflammatory cytokines and bone metabolic markers in rats with bone cancer pain

Abstract
Objective To study the effects of Shuangjintongliting Capsule on inflammatory cytokines and bone metabolic markers in rats with bone cancer pain.Methods The model of bone cancer pain in rats was established by injecting Walker 256 mammary gland carcinoma cells into tibial medullary cavity.The rats with bone cancer pain were randomly divided into model group and Shuangjintongliting Capsule group.At the same time,other rats with sham-operation were selected to be the normal control group.The contents of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2),interleukin-6 (IL-6) and collagen Ⅰ cross-linked carboxy terminal telopeptide(ICTP) were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results Compared with the model group,Shuangjintongliting Capsule could markedly reduce the contents of PGE2,IL-6 and ICTP(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion Shuangjintongliting Capsule may inhibit the expression of inflammatory cytokines and bone resorption to alleviate bone cancer pain in rats.关键词
