摘要

Abstract

Physical and mechanical properties of silty sand and its compaction process are studied through indoor and field tests.The results show that silty sand particles are uniform;the method of increasing unit compaction cannot improve the maximum dry density of silty sand effectively;silty sand is sensitive to higher moisture content, and the optimum moisture content of the right side of is more sensitive than that of the left;the time from compression to stability is short and the rolling process of silty sand is relatively time-saving;increasing compaction pressure to improve silty sand's compactness is not feasible;and the peak of silty sand shear strength increases as the normal pressure increases.This paper also summarizes the technical parameters of compaction with constraints.
