Finite Element Analysis for Rolling Vibration Test-rig of Rubber-tired Tram

Abstract
The rolling vibration test-rig of rubber-tired tram is an important platform for rubber-tired tram wheel/rail relationship research and the shock excitation unit is a key component of the rig.This paper focuses on the shock excitation unit and employs UG to establish a 3D model and imports it into software ANSYS for finite element analysis.The analysis covers the displacement contour cloud maps, equivalent stress contour cloud maps, equivalent strain contour cloud maps of the test-rig under the maximum load, and the natural frequencies and corresponding vibration modes of the first 5 orders.Analysis results show that the servo hydraulic cylinder can improve the structural mechanism of the test-rig, and the natural frequency of first-order is far away from the frequency of shock excitation and the natural frequency could be improved by increasing the number of the adjustable mounts.The rationality of the structure design of this kind of test-rig is analyzed and verified and the analytical data may provide some references for the optimization of the test-rig structure.关键词
