摘要
Abstract
The new railway project from Kathmandu to Pokhara in Nepal is located in the middle of Nepal with 164.395km of total length.The undeveloped areas near this new railway have almost no railway and inadequate base information and survey data of railway.In view of the difficulties mentioned above, this paper addresses the methods of forecast about passenger traffic.According to the characteristics of passenger flow, Nepal is divided into 17 districts and the passenger volume of each is forecasted by four-step method.With reference to the population and tourist flow of now and future of each district, the passenger volume generated in each district is forecasted.The gravity model method is used to get the OD of the total passenger flow, and the Logic model is used to get the OD of the railway passenger flow.Finally the shortest path method is employed in passenger flow assignment so as to obtain the density of regional passenger flow and passenger volume of stations.The forecast of this project may provide references for other similar projects.关键词
