Abstract
The rapid development of urban surrounding clusters requires feeder lines of large volume to connect rapidly the resources of urban rail transit and relieve the ever increasing traffic pressure within the clusters.This paper analyzes the functional orientation, planning conditions, system comparison and selection and connecting mode of the feeder lines, and makes a systematic description based on Tianjin Airport Economic Area.Both the rail transit system with low and medium volume and the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) can meet the demands of the feeder lines.The construction of the feeder lines should be adequately demonstrated to give full play to the existing public traffic capacity.The application of the new rail transit system should be coordinated well with the existing rail transit network.关键词
