Abstract
As for the new tunnel constructed through existing shield tunnel, stress analysis is made on the formation of limited range between deep foundation pit of special shape and the ventilation of metro station.In the case of 3.5m width of limited soil, the influence of the limited earth pressure must be considered as far as the vertical sidewall is concerned, where the excavation depth is deeper than 6.5m.The relevant calculation model and the simplified formula are put forward.The relationship between limited earth pressure and excavation depth tends to be linear.As for the inclined sidewall, the relevant calculation model and the simplified formula are put forward based on the mechanical characteristics of limited soil.The limited earth pressure on the enlarging excavation point is a little larger due to soil weight and the exponential relationship between limited earth pressure and excavation depth is found for inclined sidewall.But the limited earth pressure is obviously less than conventional earth pressure with the increase of excavation depth.The difference between limited earth pressure and conventional earth pressure tends to be stable with the decrease of limited soil width.At last, numerical analysis is carried out, and it is found that the deformation of deep foundation pit of special shape is relatively smaller;the horizontal deformation is mainly focused on the sidewall near the existed tunnel and ventilation, and the deformation and crack width of the deep foundation meet regulatory requirements.The theory of limited earth pressure can effectively reduce the stress of the retaining structure and corresponding reinforcement, and detailed design is beneficial for project safety and cost contro.关键词
