3D Modeling on Effect of Interfacial Elasticity Moduluson Performance of Twin Fibers Pull Out Test
摘要
Abstract
The coupling actions between fibers and meso-level heterogeneous distribution of interface mechanical parameters have been investigated in this paper. Numerical models for twin fibers pull-out test have been simulated by using finite element method. The influence of interface elasticity modulus on mechanical properties and mechanism of interface have been studied on twin fibers pull-out test specimens. The results include tensile stress distribution, AE evolution and load-AE-step curves. By adopting curve fitting method, the relationship between interfacial elasticity modulus and peak load, and relative toughness, and acoustic emission energy have been established. These results show that lower elastic modulus interface could help to reduce the stress concentration. In addition, with an increasing interfacial elasticity modulus, the strength and toughness decrease.关键词
