Abstract

Based on environmental categories and levels of lining concrete of cross sea region of one tunnel engineering, comparative research on compression test and chloride resistanceproperty of polypropylene fiber reinforced high performance concrete ( FRHPC ) with different fiber length was performed, and then a scheme of high performance concrete with polypropylene fiber is proposed. Axial compression test, axial tensile test, penetration test and drying shrinkage test were carried out for the scheme. The results indicate that the compressive strength of FRHPC was slightly lower than that of the contrast group in early durations ( 3~7 d ) , however, in later durations ( 7~90 d ) compressive strength of FRHPC increasingly exceeded. The compressive strength increases with fiber content in 28 d. Besides, chloride ion diffusion coefficient increases with fiber content in both 28 d and 90 d when fiber contenet is below 1.5%. Chloride ion diffusion coefficient of FRHPC with fiber length of 6mm is greater than that of FRHPC with fiber length of 12mm.
