摘要

Abstract

Since it is hard to find a proper proton accelerator and the attenuation law of gamma ray interacting with matter is similar to that of proton,cnprinciple experiment of the scanning test method is carried out using 60Co γ radiation source.The test object is made of plastic cylinder and tungsten cylinder,and it is put on an electrical-controlling movable apparatus which can move it at a minimum step of 2.5 μm.A lead collimator with aperture diameter of 8 mm is used to get narrow gamma-ray beams.A transmission beam analysis system with a scintillator and a CCD camera is used to capture the transmission image series.Material edge positions are given out by experiment and Monte Carlo simulation, and both deviations are less than 1.2 mm from the true value, which confirms that the scanning test method is practical and effective.
