Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical significance of monitoring iron protein and serum iron during Pregnancy so as to predict iron deficiency anemia. Methods 1035 cases of pregnant women in Yanan City Baota District were randomly selected as the subject; The ferric chloride (HICN) method was used for the determination of hemoglobin (Hb) level, gold immunochromatography assay for serum ferritin (SF) level, and FerroZine colorimetric for determination of serum iron principle (SI) the level of investigation;Other information such as all pregnant women's age, parity, body condition, nutritional status, and diet was also collected. Results The rate of iron deficiency was 24.25%,which was 8.31% higher than that (15.94%) of iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women. The serum iron deficiency rate was 11.30%,and the prevalence rate of anemia was close to that of the patients. There were significant differences in iron protein, serum iron deficiency and anemia prevalence in different stages of pregnancy (P<0.05);There were significant differences in the levels of anemia and iron protein, serum iron levels (P<0.05).Conclusion With the increasing prevalence of anemia in pregnancy, serum ferritin and iron deficiency rate is on the rise;the lack of ferritin and serum iron is related to the degree of anemia:The more severe the degree of anemia, the lower the level of iron protein and serum iron.In non anemic pregnant women, some pregnant women of ferritin decreased, therefore ferritin can be used as early indicators of iron depletion index, and in the vast majority of anemia and almost all lack of serum iron, ferritin and the combined detection of serum iron on iron deficiency anemia in early prediction, early detection and early intervention with the important clinical application value.关键词
