摘要

Abstract

TIG welding of 8 mm thick 2219 aluminum alloy variable polarity plasma transverse welding joint was carried out,and a good repair welding joint was obtained.The mechanical properties,microstructure,fracture mode and fracture morphology of weld were analyzed.The results show that the mechanical properties and bending performance of the welded joints are higher than 60% of base metal and 4% of elongation after fracture.The eutectic structure produced by the welding joint is the junction of the welding joint and the original weld that is the main reason of cracking;by the organization and the impact of stomata,welding joints fracture path and mode is divided into three kinds,fracture and dimple,shallow depth,toughness fracture.
