Abstract
Objective To evaluate the relationship of rs2241766 and rs266729 single-nucleotide polymorphisms in the adiponectin gene with the risk of ischemic stroke by using meta-analysis.Methods We did a review of studies about the relationship of rs2241766 and rs266729 single-nucleotide polymorphisms in the adiponectin gene with the risk of ischemic stroke from PubMed,EMBase,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,Springer-link,Biosis,CBM,CNKI,VIP and Wanfang Data from May to December in 2016.We extracted the following information of the included articles:the first author, published time and area, genotyping method, sample size, age, and genotypes.Methodological quality evaluation of the included studies was conducted by Newcastle-Ottawa Scale (NOS).Stata 12.0 statistic software was used to analyze the comparisons between the case group and control group of rs2241766 and rs266729 polymorphic loci in dominant, recessive, and co-dominant models.According to OR value and its 95% CI,the association between adiponectin gene polymorphism and the risk of ischemic stroke was evaluated. Results A total of 11 articles were included with 2 934 case and 3 721 control group. The NOS scores of the articles ranged from 6 to 9 points, with an average of 7.8 points. There were no significant differences in rs2241766 between the case group and control group in dominance model [OR =0.90,95% CI (0.74,1.08)],recessive model [OR =0.69,95%CI (0.47,1.01)],co-dominant model (TTand GG) [OR=0.71,95%CI (0.48,1.04)],co-dominant model (TT and TG) [OR =0.95,95% CI (0.84,1.07)].There were no significant differences in rs266729 between the case group and control group in dominance model [OR =0.85,95% CI (0.70,1.03)],recessive model [OR =0.78,95% CI (0.49,1.25)],co-dominantmodel (CCand GG) [OR=0.74,95%CI (0.45,1.22)],co-doininant model (CC and CG) [OR =0.88,95% CI (0.74,1.04)].Conclusion The rs2241766 and rs266729 single-nucleotide polymorphisms in the adiponectin gene have no correlation with the risk of ischemic stroke.关键词
