Strategic Thinking on the Establishment of the China's Innovation DemonstrationZone for the Implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development

Abstract
In December 2016, the State Council issued 'The Development Plan of China's Innovation Demonstration Zone for the Implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (IDZSD)', which attracted wide attention at home and abroad.The IDZSD has become a new milestone of China's action for sustainable development.The article introduced the formulating process of the Development Plan of IDZSD, analyzed its significances and main contents, and also puts forward to follow-up work for establishing the IDZSD.The article believes that establishing the IDZSD is inevitable choice to conform to the trend of global sustainable development for China, urgent need to solve the main problems of the sustainable development for China, and objective requirements to response to the international societies' expectations for China.The article put forward to four principles needed to be paid more attention during establishing the IDZSD:①to completely abandons GDP-oriented development model and truly promote local development based on the concept of sustainable development;②to focuses on the bottleneck problem of local sustainable development and explore a systematically effective solution including policy, mechanism and technology innovation;③ to mobilize the enthusiasm of all sectors of industry and formulate the mechanism of guidance by government, allocation resources by market, promotion by all stakeholders;and ④to proactively share solutions and best practices to the whole world.The article believes that, for the future, the establishment of the IDZSD should be integrated with relatively works: ①to strengthen the integration with National Pilot Zone for Sustainable Development and forms a mutual support layout;②to strengthen the integration with "green technology bank" and promote advanced and applicable technologies transferr and application in the IDZSD;③ to strengthen the integration with the National Programmes of Science and Technology and improve innovation capacity of the IDZSD;④to strengthen the integration with different fields' reform processes of sustainable development and preforms a comprehensive innovation demonstration.关键词
