Diagnosis and management of heart failure in the elderly
摘要
Abstract
Heart failure is a very common disease in the elderly, manifested by high morbidity and mortality.The diagnosis of heart failure in the elderly is complicated due to nonspecific symptoms and signs,which overlaps with many other common comorbidities.There are few clinical trials which has specifically focused on the elderly patients,and the elderly are less likely to receive guidelinerecommended heart failure therapy.Many efficacious medications proved in the young patients have not been widely used in the elderly patients.With the acceleration of aging in China,cardiovascular physicians will face more and more elderly patients with heart failure.So,we would talk about some key points on the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure in the elderly.关键词
