Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of vacuum-assisted closure (VAC) technique in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcer.Methods A total of 41 cases with diabetic foot ulcer were analyzed retrospectively from March 2014 to July 2015.All patients were divided into two groups:24 cases of observation group were treated by VAC technique,and 17 cases of control group were treated by conventional dressing treatment.Therapeutic effect was compared between the two groups.Results The preparation duration of wound surface was (15.7 ± 8.6)d and (29.3 ± 10.8)d respectively in the observation group and control group,there was statistical difference in preparation duration between two groups (P ＜ 0.05).The result was revealed cure in 19 cases,improved in 4 cases and invalid in 1 case in the observation group,and cure in 7 cases,improved in 5 cases and invalid in 5 cases in the observation group.The effective rate was 95.83％ in the observation group,and was higher than 70.59％ of the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The VAC technique can play a valid role to improve and accelerate wound healing in patients with diabetic foot ulcer,and it is worthy to be popularized.关键词
