Effect of Dexmedetomidine on Prevention of Restlessness in Weaning Patients with Mechanical Ventilation in ICU
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of Dexmedetomidine on the prevention of restlessness in weaning patients with mechanical ventilation in intensive care unit(ICU). Methods Totally 71 patients with mechanical ventilation in ICU were selected and randomly divided into the observation group(36 cases)and the control group(35 cases). The control group was given sedative treatment with Mi-dazolam,the observation group was given sedative treatment with Dexmedetomidine. The occurrence of restlessness,the time of extubation and the time of mechanical ventilation and the adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The agitation rate of the observation group was 8. 33%,which was significantly lower than 28. 57% of the control group(P < 0. 05). The time of tracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P < 0. 05). The incidence rate of adverse reactions was 13. 89% in the observation group and the control group was 11. 43%,the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0. 05). Conclusion Dexmedetomidine can prevent restlessness when patients with mechanical ventilation in ICU are offline,and shorten the mechanical ventilation time and extubation time,it is high safety and worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
