Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the application rationality of pantoprazole sodium for injections in inpatients, so as to provide reference for the rational drug application.METHODS: By using clinical rational drug application software, medical records of 300 inpatients with pantoprazole sodium in the First Hospital of Jiaxing(hereinafter referred to as "our hospital") from Jul.2016 to Sept.2016 were extracted, rational analysis was conducted in terms of indications, usage and dosage.RESULTS: Of the 300 cases, 157 cases (52.33%) were males, 143 cases (47.67%) were females;all patients aged during 15-91 years old, with average of 58.97 years old;mainly from surgical oncology, hepatobiliary surgery and medical oncology, etc.Of the 300 cases,there were 98 cases with irrational clinical application of pantoprazole sodium for injections, with the rate of 32.67%, mainly performed as longer length of course disease and without indications.CONCLUSIONS: There are some problems in the rational application of pantoprazole sodium for injections in inpatients, therefore, the standardized application of proton pump inhibitors is needed to avoid excessive medication.关键词
