Abstract
The effect of the double baffle with refractory fillers on flow field in tundish ws studied by physical simulation method.Stimulus-response method was used to test the RTD curves under different experimental schemes,and calculate the effect of different baffle schemes on the flow of molten steel in tundish.The results show that the overall average residence time of the flow in tundish with the double-baffle without refractory fillers is longer than that of the original baffle.It is also found that for the five cases of the double-baffle with refractory fillers,their overall average residence time increases in turn as the size of refractory fillers increases;and the volume fraction of dead region becomes smaller in turn as the size of fractory fillers increases.关键词
