Abstract
To meet the earth observation demands of the geosynchronous earth orbit synthetic aperture radar(GEO SAR) and take other factors such as the launch into consideration,a possible antenna form,which combines the technology of digital beam forming(DBF) with reflector,is presented based on the analysis of the antenna size and power of GEO SAR under certain parameters.DBF in elevation lowers the system restrictions on pulse-width,so the transmitting peak power is decreased.DBF in azimuth reduces the system operation pulse repetition frequency(PRF),thus the swath width is enlarged.The design method provides theoretical reference for the development of GEO SAR antenna in the future.关键词
