摘要

Abstract

The calculation method of foundation bearing capacity specified in new code of practice for foundation is quite different from that in previous code of practice. Based on one gravity caisson breakwater project, the foundation bearing capacity of standard section is calculated as per new code of practice. The calculation results are analyzed to find the design control factors, which are verified to be effective through the deformation observation during the construction.
