Influence of traditional Chinese medicine nursing intervention on postoperative complications and quality of life of patients with vertebral fracture

Abstract
Objective To analyze the influence of traditional Chinese medicine nursing intervention on the postoperative complications and quality of life of patients with vertebral fracture.Methods 90 patients with spinal fracture were randomly divided into a study group and a control group,45 cases for each group.The study group received traditional Chinese medicine nursing intervention and the control group conventional nursing intervention.The total satisfaction rate,fracture healing time,postoperative complications,hospital stay,VAS score,and quality of life of the two groups were compared and analyzed.Results The total satisfaction rate was higher in the study group than in the control group (95.56％ vs.75.56％,P ＜ 0.05).The fracture healing time was (51.32±7.52) d in the study group and (74.52±11.20) d in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).The postoperative complication rate was 4.44％ in the study group and 26.67％ in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).The hospitalization time was (8.37±1.68) d in the study group and (12.51±3.14) d in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).The VAS score was (2.31±0.43) in the study group and (4.27±0.67) in the control group after the intervention (P ＜ 0.05).The quality of life table scores were higher in the study group than in the comtrol group after the intervention (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine nursing intervention for patients with vertebral fracture is significantly effective and can reduce postoperative complications and improve the patients' quality of life.关键词
