Abstract
Objective To reduce drug dispensing mistakes and improve the quality of drug dispensing work,so as to guarantee the safety of drug use in patients.Methods PDCA cycle was adopted to improve the quality of drug dispensing work at the inpatient pharmacy of our hospital from 2014 to 2015.The quality improvement was implemented through collecting materials,analyzing reasons,developing and carrying out countermeasures,and regularly inspecting and summarizing of the implementation process.The drug dispensing mistakes after PDCA cycle was compared with those before.Results After 4 rounds of PDCA cycle,the average drug dispensing mistakes monthly in 2014 decreased from 12 cases in the first quarter to 6 cases in the fourth quarter,with a decrease by 50％ (P ＜ 0.05).The drug dispensing mistakes of 2015 maintained in low level.Conlusions PDCA cycle can effectively prevent or reduce drug dispensing mistakes,enhance the quality of drug dispensing work and improve the defect in management and workflow.关键词
