Abstract
Objective To observe the impact of Huatan Tongluo Decoction on homocysteine (Hey) of middle-aged patients with acute ischemic stroke and the clinical effect.Methods 56 middle-age patients with acute ischemic stroke of wind phlegm stagnation type were selected and randomly divided into 2 groups:observation group and control group,28 in each;routine therapy was performed in both groups while Huatan Tongluo Decoction was added to patients in observation group;the course of both groups lasted for 14 days;Hcy level and neurological deficit scores of the patients in the 2 groups before and after treatment were detected and evaluated and a comparative study was made between the 2 groups.Results The total effective rate in observation group was much higher than that in control group (P＜0.05);there existed no obvious difference in plasma Hcy levels between the 2 groups before treatment while after treatment,the Hcy levels of the patients in both groups decreased greatly (P＜0.05) and the decrease in observation group was much greater than that in control group (P＜0.05);the neurological deficit scores of the patients in observation group dropped down obviously more than that in control group (P ＜ 0.01),P ＜ 0.05);the neurological deficit scores of the patients in both groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment and the decrease in observation group was even greater (P＜0.05).Conclusions Huatan Tongluo Decoction is effective in improving the clinical symptoms of the patients with acute ischemic stroke of wind phlegm stagnation type,promoting the recovery of neurological function and decreasing the plasma Hcy level.关键词
