Abstract
Objective: To explore the treatment and curative effect of old humerus lateral condyle fracture in children.Methods: From June 2014 to June 2016, 12 cases of 3 to 12 week-old humerus lateral condyle fracture were operated by open reduction and cannulated screw fixation and plaster slab fixation after operation.7 cases of more than 12 week-old humerus lateral condyle fracture were operated by cuneiform osteotomy, open reduction and cannulated screw fixation and plaster slab fixation after operation.Remove the plaster slab on 2 weeks after surgery.Remove the Kirschner wire on 1 months after surgery.The cannulated screw can be removed on 3 months after operation according to recovery.Results: All the patients were followed up for 6-18 months.No complications such as osteofascial compartment syndrome and vascular injury were found.The valgus deformity and elbow functions of flexion and extension were improved.Results showed the efficiency of 14 cases were excellent, 3 cases good, 2 cases better and 0 cases poor, the excellent rate is 89.5%.Conclusion: In this study, the two operation methods have main advantages such as short operative time, little trauma and postoperative complications in children.They can also achieve a purpose of good reduction, fixation and postoperative early functional rehabilitation.All in all, They are effective to correct deformity, promote early recovery and improve the elbow function.关键词
