Nitrogen Uptake and Utilization Difference of Different Cucumber Varieties under Eco-Organic Soilless Culture

摘要

Abstract

With perlite, vermiculite and peat as culture substrates, the difference of soilless culture in nitrogen uptake and utilization of 12 cucumber varieties were studied under the same nitrogen level.The results showed that the difference of dry matter amount in plant was higher than that in fruit between different varieties of cucumber.The interspecies difference of nitrogen content in fruit was greater than that in plant.The correlation and path analysis showed that the total nitrogen absorption and nitrogen use efficiency had significantly positive correlations with cucumber yield, and played major roles in yield and total dry matter of cucumber.
