Abstract

The method of formation Q value extraction based on wavelet frequency division technology mainly divides seismic data into different frequency segments for the different target layer,to avoid the interaction of different frequency component in seismic data.By specifically treating the frequency information from target layer,the stability of the formation Q value is improved.Based on this,we aim at the shallow,middle and deep,deep target layer,using wavelet frequency division technology to divide the data into different frequency bands,obtain seismic data with different frequency interval of the target layer.Then we use the extraction technology of formation Q value to extract Q value and finally amplitude compensation and phase compensation are carried out respectively using the Q value.The results of model test and example analysis show that the method can effectively compensate the seismic data from different target layers,which makes the reflection wave shape consistent,the main frequency improved,the frequency band broadened,thus improving the quality of seismic data.
