摘要

Abstract

Considering the drawbacks of existing methods such as the high computational complexity and the need to introduce excess bandwidth,a simple and flexible peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction method without excess bandwidth is proposed after a deep analysis on the reason of forming large peaks of single-carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) signals.The proposed method transforms the outer constellation points of the constellation which causes the peak power of the SC-FDMA signal to be larger than a given value into inner points at the cost of introducing very few error bits.By channel decoding at the receiver,the number of introduced error bits caused by constellation transformation can be greatly reduced.The proposed scheme has very low computational complexity without excess bandwidth and can reduce the PAPR of SC-FDMA signals effectively.
