Abstract
Objective To analyze the changes in intestinal colony and effects of erythromycin in patients with newly diagnosed type-2 diabetes and glucose lowering failure by short-term oral administration of hypoglycemic drugs. Methods 95 patients with newly diagnosed type-2 diabetes and glucose lowering failure by short-term oral administration of hypoglycemic drugs admitted to our hospital were selected to constitute a study group, and another 80 healthy persons at the same time were selected to constitute a control group. The intestinal colony distribution in the two groups was detected. The study group was further treated with erythromycin. The changes in blood glucose, insulin, intestinal flora and related inflammatory factors before and after the treatment were compared. Results The number of bacillus bifidus and bacteroid in the study group was much lower than that in the control group, while the number of enterobacteria and enterococcus was significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05);after four weeks of further treatment with erythromycin, the FBG,2 hPG,HbAlc,enterobacteria, enterococcus, serum IL-6,TNF-α and INF-γ levels in the study group decreased greatly, while insulin,C peptide and bacteroid number increased (P < 0.05).Concision The intestinal colony in patients with newly diagnosed type-2 diabetes and glucose lowering failure by short-term oral administration of hypoglycemic drugs gets unbalanced;combined treatment with erythromycin can not only obviously improve the glucose metabolism in patients, but also significantly relieve inflammatory reaction. In addition,it can restore the balance of intestinal colony to some extent.关键词
