Abstract

In order to study the remediation of contaminated soil with antibiotics,ryegrass was used to degrade the residual antibiotics in soils,the soil microbial ecological activity and the remediation process was also discussed.The results showed that the degradation rates of tetracycline,chlortetracycline,enrofloxacin,lomefloxacin,ciprofloxacin and norfloxacin in ryegrass were significantly higher than those in control(p < 0.05).The degradation rate of tetracycline antibiotics was from 19.1% to 27.7%,of which the degradation rate of chlortetracycline was highest from 11.4% to 27.7%.There were subtle variations for sulfamethazine,with the degradation rate of 3.4% to 8.3%.The degradation rate of quinolones was from 15.3% to 28.8%,of which lomefloxacin and enrofloxacin were from 15.3% to 28.8%,14.2% to 28.0%,respectively.At the same time,ryegrass could reduce the inhibitory effect of antibiotics on soil microbial activity.Compared with the soil samples un planted with ryegrass,microbial respiratory and ammonification activity was 4.5 and 1.9 times of the control.In addition,antibiotics in soil residual and the root growth was found to have a certain correlation,root total surface area and soil antibiotics total residues showed a significant negative correlation (r =0.948,p < 0.05).
