Abstract
Objective The acute cerebral infarction patients were divided into subgroups according to TOAST classification criteria.Difference in atherosclerotic burden(AB)was evaluated in stroke patients with different TOAST subtypes.Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 160 acute cerebral infarction patients from January 2014 to May 2016 in our hospital.All patients were divided into subgroups according to TOAST classification criteria,and were also evaluated with the classification of AB.Results The TOAST classification results showed that there were 24(15.38%)cardiogenic embolism(CE)patients,54(34.62%)large artery atherosclerosis(LAA)patients,28(17.59%)small artery occlusion(SAO)patients,20(12.82%)other clear etiology(ODC)patients and 30(19.23%)unknown causes(UND)patients.AB classification showsed that the scores were higher in patients of cardiogenic embolism,large artery atherosclerosis and small artery occlusion than that in other type patients(P<0.05).Conclusion The etiology of patients with cardiac embolism,large artery atherosclerosis and small artery occlusion is related to vascular factors.AB is beneficial to the diagnosis of cerebral apoplexy patients.关键词
