瑶医神火灸联合激素治疗多发性硬化
Yaoyi Shenhuo moxibustion combined with glucocorticoid in the treatment of multiple sclerosis

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Yaoyi Shenhuo moxibustion combined with glucocorticoid on multiple sclerosis and the affect of quality of life. Methods 64 MS patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group. Patients in the observation group were treated with Yaoyi Shenhuo moxibustion combined with glucocorticoid while patients in the control group were treated with glucocorticoid. After treated for three weeks, the clinical efficacy (EDSS score), life ability assessment and quality of life of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.62%, the total effective rate of the control group was 78.12%, and the total effective rate was significantly different (P >0.05), the EDSS score, ADL Barthel and quality of life in the observation group was better than the control group (P<0.05), significantly in the third week. On quality of life, every function in the observation group except cognitive function was significantly better after treatment (P >0.05);In the control group every function in the observation group except cognitive function and body pain was significantly better after treatment. Compared with control group, patients in the observation group were significantly better on physical function, body role restriction, emotional function and body pain after treatment, Conclusion Yaoyi Shenhuo moxibustion combined with glucocorticoid can improve the clinical efficacy, the ability of daily living and quality of life of patients with MS, especially in the improvement of physical function, mood and pain.关键词
